Please be advised that our business will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays starting from Friday, 22nd December 2023 and will reopen on Monday, 2nd January 2024. During this shutdown period, our offices and warehouses will be closed, and we will not be able to process any orders, returns, or provide customer support.

Shipping Fees

We work incredibly hard to offer the best shipping rates available while using the highest quality couriers to deliver our products all around Australia. If you feel that the quoted shipping rate is inaccurate, feel free to contact us via email (hello@accessworld.com.au) or live chat and we will see if we are able to offer a better deal.

Our advertised rates cover main metro deliveries and are subject to change. Due to the oversized nature of many of our products, there may be additional charges for remote, regional or some residential areas.

In some cases, we may need to ship to your nearest depot for collection and there may be additional charges. We will be in contact with you post-purchase if there are any additional charges or depot delivery required. You are entitled to cancel the order for a full refund in the case that any additional charges are applicable to your order.

 

The Order Process

Ordering from Access World is simple:

  1. You'll get an email confirmation immediately after placing your order.
  2. Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days.
  3. You'll get an email containing your tracking link when your order leaves the warehouse.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

 

Order Confirmation

As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail from us to confirm that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorised your credit card for the purchase.

If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

 

Order Shipment

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within one to five business days from the date of your order (usually within 2 days).

You shall then receive tracking information (if applicable) within 24-48 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.

If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at hello@accessworld.com.au

Deliveries are sent during normal business hours, Monday to Friday and can take between 1 and 10 days to receive, depending on your location.

In the unlikely event that the product(s) you have ordered are unavailable or out of stock, we will be in contact to inform you and help you find a suitable alternative or cancel your order.

 

Carriers

We have established accounts with all the major carriers in Australia. Your order will be shipped with the most appropriate carrier depending on your location. You will receive tracking information to keep track of your delivery and you can rest assured your order will arrive in good hands as we only use the best couriers.

 

PO Boxes

We cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

Any orders addressed to a PO Box will not be processed. We will not authorise the payment from your credit card and the order will be cancelled. 

 

Lost Items In Transit

In the unlikely event that the courier company deems your items as being lost in transit then we will send a replacement item out at no extra cost to you.

Please note we cannot offer any refunds or replacements until the courier has deemed the item as lost in transit. This may take up to 4 weeks from the initial order date

 

Redelivery Fees & Authority To Leave

If you are not home to accept your order, a card will be left advising next steps for re-delivery, there may be additional charges involved for this, especially for heavy items. If you opt for an authority to leave please note that once the freight has been delivered, the courier or Access World cannot be held responsible if the freight goes missing from your property.

 

Free Pickup

We offer Free Pickup for our Indalex products in Dandenong South VIC, and Leumeah NSW. We also offer Free Pickup for our Altech range of products from Campbellfield VIC.

Please note that this is a service direct from our pickup and dispatch warehouses. No orders or payments can be processed here.

You can select the Free Pickup option on the checkout page and we will be in contact to advise of pickup instructions when your order is ready to collect (usually within a few hours).

Please note that while we try hard to keep accurate stock numbers on our website, we can not 100% guarantee that your item will be in stock at the time of ordering. On the rare chance that your item is not in stock, we will be in contact to advise an ETA and you can choose to keep your order on backorder, switch to a similar item, or cancel your order for a full refund (we will void the pre authorisation hold on your credit card.)

If you're not 100% completely satisfied with your purchase we will happily accept your return and provide you with a store credit or a full refund to the value of the product's purchase price.

Our 30-day Easy Return policy has no special catches and is extremely simple! All we ask is that you return the item back to us unused and in the original packaging, making sure that the product is in the same condition that you received it in, labels still intact. If items are returned to us outside of these conditions, Access World reserves the right to not accept the delivery (it will be returned to sender) without issuing a refund.

If you want to exchange something on your order for something else then simply return what you don’t want and place a new order for what you require on our website

You can choose between an exchange or a full refund of the product's purchase price made to your original payment method.

Exchanges are shipped and refunds are processed once the order items make it back to our warehouse.

If you choose an exchange and the new item is of lesser value we will refund the difference and if more expensive you'll be able to easily pay the difference online.

*To be eligible for Easy Returns, the item and its packaging must be in the original, brand new condition and unused. Easy Returns is not available with custom orders.

 

Exclusions & What You Need To Know

Custom made items or items made to order are not eligible for return.

We do not cover postage costs for returns and we do recommend our customers use registered post with insurance. If you wish, we can organise the return shipping with one of our freight providers in which case the return shipping fee will be deducted from the purchase price to be refunded to you.

 

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.

If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to hello@accessworld.com.au and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

We will replace any of our products that arrive damaged as quickly as possible.

 

Incorrect Delivery

Sometimes mistakes can happen. If we happen to send you incorrect products, we sincerely apologise in advance!

Please call us as soon as soon as possible on 1300 851 385 and we will arrange to collect the incorrect item and deliver to you the correct one.

This, of course, will occur at no cost to you.

 

Returns Outside 30-Day Returns Window

If you change your mind and wish to return your product outside of our 30-day returns window, you may return the product for a store credit (minus a 10% restocking fee and excluding any original shipping costs.)

All Items must be returned to us unused and in the original packaging, making sure that the product is in the same condition that you received it in, labels still intact. If items are returned to us outside of these conditions, Access World reserves the right to send the items back to you without issuing a store credit.

Store credit will be issued in the form of a discount code / voucher and will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

 

Order Cancellation

In the event that you wish to cancel your order before it is shipped out to you, please get in contact with us ASAP and we will do our best to cancel the order prior to it being despatched. Any order cancellation requests made after an order has already been despatched will not be accepted. You may return the product back to us under our 30 Day Easy Returns Policy once it has arrived to obtain a full refund. 

 

Return to Sender

In the event that your order is attempted delivery without success (if nobody is home) or you refuse to accept delivery of your item(s), and you do not collect the item(s) from the local depot within the stated timeframe, these item(s) will be returned to sender.

If the item(s) are returned to sender and you decide to have your order redelivered to you, you will be required to pay any excess redelivery charges incurred.

If the item(s) are returned to sender and you decide to cancel your order, any incurred return delivery charges will be deducted from the total amount to be refunded.
