Indalex Product Warranty

Indalex/Ladder Solutions Warranty Statement

Whilst every effort is made to ensure your complete satisfaction with our products, it is possible that a ladder may not live up to our required level of performance. We warrant our products for the time as specified under each ladder on the respective pages. If found to be defective in materials or workmanship, the ladder or the offending faulty component, will be replaced free of charge with another of the same item. A small freight charge may apply. Proof of purchase is required.

We reserve the right to reject any claim where the purchase cannot be verified. This warranty does not include damage or defects to the ladder caused by, or resulting from, abuse, accidents or alterations.

We manufacture several different ranges of ladders for both Industrial and Domestic use. Our premium products have longer warranty periods as they are designed to outlast our other products, when used correctly.

Conditions That Apply To The Warranty

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights. Our products come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or under applicable New Zealand Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

Duration

The manufacturer warrants that it will repair or replace, at no charge for parts or labour, the Indalex Ladder, if proven defective in material or workmanship, during the following time periods, as shown, after the date of original retail purchase:

  • "Lifetime" - 70 years from date of purchase
  • "10 Years" - 10 years from date of purchase
  • "5 Years" - 5 years from date of purchase
  • "3 Years" - 3 years from date of purchase
  • "1 Year" - 12 months from date of purchase

Who Receives This Warranty (Purchaser)

The original purchaser of the Indalex product.

What Is Covered Under This Warranty

Defects in material and workmanship which occur within the duration of the warranty period.

What Is Not Covered Under This Warranty

Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration to this express warranty. After this period, all risk of loss, from whatever reason, shall be on the purchaser.

Any incidental, indirect, or consequential loss, damage, or expense that may result from any defect, failure, or malfunction of the product.
Any failure that results from accident, purchaser's abuse, neglect, or failure to use and care for the products as per the requirements of AS/NZS 1892.5:2020, Portable Ladder Safe Use and Care Standard, or any subsequent revision of this Standard.

Responsibilities of Warrantor Under This Warranty

Repair or replacement, at warrantor's discretion, of products or components which have failed within the duration of the warranty period.

Responsibilities of The Purchaser Under This Warranty

Please contact us and provide dated proof of purchase.
All ladders must be delivered or shipped to Ladder Solutions. Freight cost, if any, must be borne by the purchaser. Access World can assist with organizing freight if needed.
Use reasonable care in the operation and maintenance of the ladder as described in AS/NZS 1892.5:2020 Standard.
No warranty costs incurred will be considered for, or covered if Access World or Ladder Solutions have not been contacted and prior permission for repair/replacement has been granted.

When Warrantor will Perform Repair or Replacement under this warranty.

Repair or replacements will be scheduled according to the normal work flow at the servicing location and depending on availability of replacement parts.
